I stumbled upon their music by accident while browsing through my computer files on one lazy day. Dismissed the files as one of those that I accidentally downloaded in the past but boredom kicked in and I decided to play their songs. Enjoyed their songs and it is relaxing. Was hoping that I should have listened to their songs before I went to Boracay last week.
They released three indies before their major debut, which collectively reached sales figures of about 100,000.
They made their major debut in 2005 with their album “Let’s Go!!!”, and ranked within the top 10 of Oricon’s Instrumental Artist Debut Chart.
The band’s name was cobbled together by combining the Japanese word for overbite, ‘deppa’, because of Miura’s overbite, and the name of Takuoka’s previous band ‘DERUPEPE’.
Contrary to a popular rumor circulating among their fans, the two guitarists are not brothers. They are signed onto Sony Music Japan.
Since it is the month of June and some folks say that it is the best time to get married (but me and my wife decided December is way better...good choice for us...hehehe). I'm dedicating my June - August post about wedding suggestions (the usual preparations and to-do stuff).
I am recommending songs that can add more life to the wedding and avoid being stereotyped as one of those typical weddings. One does not get married a lot in one lifetime and it should be MEMORABLE!
